DAY 1
Original Maasai Lodge
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you are welcomed by your guide and driven to Africa Amini Original Maasai Lodge. This unique property sits in the Maasai lands between Mt Kilimanjaro and Mt Meru. Spend the afternoon by the pool and enjoy traditional singing, dancing and story- telling of an evening.

DAY 2
Original Maasai Lodge
Spend the day taking advantage of the many activities available. Take a guided nature walk, explore the area on a mountain bike or horseback, throw a spear with a Maasai or take in the beauty of the area by the pool.

DAY 3
Arusha National Park
We depart with picnic lunches for a game drive in Arusha National Park. Home to colobus monkeys, zebras, buffalo, giraffes and water buck, it sits in the foothills of Mt Meru- a dormant volcano. The scenery is dotted with the Momella lakes and home to lush forests.

DAY 4
Lake Manyara Region
In the morning, experience the Lake Manyara region from above on a series of zip lines built among the baobab trees. In the afternoon, take a guided bike ride to the shores of Lake Manyara or take a canoe safari within Lake Manyara National Park.

DAY 5
Lake Eyasi - Hadzabe Tribe
We join the Hadzabe tribe to get a taste of what life is like for one of the last nomadic hunting tribes left in Tanzania- an authentic and unforgettable cultural experience. We also spend time with the Datoga tribe who are famous for their metal working skills.

DAY 6
Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, we make our way into the Ngorongoro Crater- a highlight of every safari! The sheer crater walls give way to a wide expanse of land, home to dense animal populations including thousands of flamingos during breeding time. This is your chance for an encounter with an endangered rhino.

DAY 7
Serengeti National Park
Today we drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to the Serengeti. The Serengeti’s endless grass plains are home to huge herds of wildebeest and zebras. Spend the afternoon watching hunting cheetahs, playful lion cubs and majestic leopards before heading to the lodge for sundowners.

DAY 8
Serengeti National Park
Another day to explore pockets of the Serengeti’s plains. There is the opportunity today to split the day into a morning and afternoon game drive and return to the lodge for a hot lunch.
